After completion of the boarding process, the stockings are carefully examined for uniformity of colour and absence of spottiness against backgrounds varying according to the colour and sheerness of the stockings. Some are tried against a cream background, some against a green and yet others on black backgrounds. After this checking the stockings are ready for repacking and dispatch back to the hosiery factory.
